Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Cécile Gagnon le mardi 25 juillet 2017 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 80 ans. Comme passe-temps, elle aimait crocheter, tisser, faire de la peinture, et surtout faire de la couture. Femme de multiples talents, elle fabriquait des vêtements pour ses enfants et des couvertures pour toute la famille, en plus de rembourrer des fauteuils. Elle était une dame spirituelle et de grande foi qui était impliquée dans sa paroisse comme lectrice et ministre de communion. Cécile aimait également faire du bénévolat au sein de la communauté, surtout à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner où l’on pouvait la retrouver chaque vendredi.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Pierre (Jeannine), Roger, Maurice, Bruno, et Nicole (Gilles Lecours); huit petits-enfants: Pascal, Véronique (Eric Charron), Mélodie, Maurice, Gabrielle, Marie-Gil, Raphäel, et Patrick; cinq arrière-petits-enfants: Annabella, Mercédes, Lincoln, Mila, et Brady; ainsi qu'un frère: Arthur Bochu; et trois soeurs: Rachelle Lessard, Florence Bizier, et Dorothy Bishoff. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Bernard; un fils, Conrad Gagnon; et deux frères: Fernand et Richard Brochu.

Cécile Gagnon reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le vendredi 28 juillet de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 29 juillet à 15 heures en l'église Immaculée-Conception avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. L’inhumation suivra au Cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur. ©



We regret to announce the death of Cécile Gagnon on July 25, 2017 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 80 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, weaving, painting, and especially sewing. She was a woman of multiple talents who made clothes for her children and blankets for all her family, she even recovered her chairs! She was a very spiritual and religious person who was involved in her parish and often assited with scripture readings and serving communion. Cécile also enjoyed volunteering in her community, especially, for the Sensenbrenner Hospital, where she could be found every Friday.

She will be greatly missed by her children: Pierre (Jeannine), Roger, Maurice, Bruno, and Nicole (Gilles Lecours); eight grandchildren: Pascal, Véronique (Eric Charron), Mélodie, Maurice, Gabrielle, Marie-Gil, Raphäel, and Patrick; five great-grandchildren: Annabella, Mercédes, Lincoln, Mila, and Brady; as well as one brother: Arthur Bochu; and three sisters: Rachelle Lessard, Florence Bizier, and Dorothy Bishoff. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard; one son, Conrad; and two brothers: Fernand and Richard Brochu.

Cécile Gagnon will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 3:00 p.m. at the Immaculée-Conception church with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. ©
