Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Lionel Miville le jeudi 6 juillet 2017 au Manoir North Centennial à l’âge de 95 ans. Il était fier membre des Chevaliers de Colomb de Fauquier. Il aimait jouer l’accordéon et l’harmonica; aller faire du camping, la pêche sur glace et regarder les Canadiens de Montréal ainsi que les Blue Jays de Toronto. Il a surtout trouvé une grande joie à bercer et caresser ses arrière-petits-enfants. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Noëlla, ses enfants : Michel (Line), Linda Miville (Marcel Leblanc) de Smooth Rock Falls, Dominique (Marie-Anne) et Denise Lalonde (Aurel) de Kapuskasing; ses frères et sœurs : Jeanne D’Arc Leclerc, Irène Miville et Raymond; ainsi que huit petits-enfants : Marc, Serge, Stacey, Joëlle, Patrick, Stéphane, Michael et Jordy; six arrière-petits- enfants : Lucas, Blake, Zoé, Alec, Chase et Jayden. Il fut prédécédé par un fils, Jacques; ses frères et sœurs : Germain, Adrien, Charles, Maurice, Claire, Marguerite, Gertrude et Lucien; et un gendre, Jeannot Côté. Lionel Miville reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le lundi 10 juillet de 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le mardi 11 juillet à église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation des enfants du corridor du Nord ou le Manoir North Centennial.

We regret to announce the passing of Lionel Miville on Thursday, July 6th 2017 at the North Centennial Manor at the age of 95. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus of Fauquier. He enjoyed playing the accordion and the harmonica; going camping, ice fishing and watching the Montreal Canadians as well as the Toronto Blue Jays. He especially found great joy in rocking and cuddling his great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Noëlla, his children: Michel (Line), Linda Miville (Marcel Leblanc) of Smooth Rock Falls, Dominique (Marie-Anne) and Denise Lalonde (Aurèl) of Kapuskasing, his siblings: Jeanne D’Arc Leclerc, Irène Miville and Raymond, as well as eight grandchildren: Marc, Serge, Stacey, Joëlle, Patrick, Stéphane, Michael and Jordy; six great-grandchildren: Lucas, Blake, Zoé, Alec, Chase and Jayden. He was predeceased by his son, Jacques, his siblings, Germain, Adrien, Charles, Maurice, Claire, Marguerite, Gertrude and Lucien as well as one son-in-law, Jeannot Côté. Lionel Miville will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Monday, July 10th from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund or the North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated.
