Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Gaëtan Tremblay le vendredi 24 février 2017 à l’Hôpital Horizon Santé-Nord à l'âge de 67 ans. Il aimait le jardinage, travailler dans sa serre, la pêche sur la glace, faire du bois de poêle et passer du temps avec ses petits-enfants. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Louise d'Opasatika, ses enfants; Roger (Lori) de Bonnyville, Alberta et Tammy Tremblay (Tyler Rogola) de Thunder Bay, ses frères et soeurs, J. Émile (Margo), Fernand (Diane), Gilberte Lamontagne (Laurent) de Kapuskasing, France Gamache (feu Rémi) et Daniel (Louisiane) d'Opasatika, ainsi que ses petits-enfants; Dillon, Éric, Alex, Vanessa et Emily. Il fut prédécédé par ses frères et soeurs, Gilles, Paul-Henri, Lucien, Guy, Normand, Élianne Larocque, Lina Martel et Cécile Tremblay. Gaëtan Tremblay reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le vendredi 3 mars de 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 4 mars en l'église St-Antoine-de-Padoue à 15h00 avec le Diacre Jean Beausoleil et le Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrants. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur. ©

We regret to announce the death of Gaëtan Tremblay on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Health Sciences North at the age of 67. Gaëtan enjoyed gardening, working in his greenhouse, ice fishing, cutting fire wood, but his greatest joy was being surrounded by his grandchildren. He is survived wife his wife Louise of Opasatika, his children; Roger (Lori) of Bonnyville, Alberta and Tammy Tremblay (Tyler Rogola) of Thunder Bay, his siblings; J. Émile (Margo), Fernand (Diane), Gilberte Lamontagne (Laurent) of Kapuskasing, France Gamache (late Rémi) and Daniel (Louisiane) of Opasatika, as well as his grandchildren; Dillon, Éric, Alex, Vanessa and Emily. He was predeceased by his siblings, Gilles, Paul-Henri, Lucien, Guy, Normand, Élianne Larocque, Lina Martel and Cécile Tremblay. Gaëtan Tremblay will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday March 3rd from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at the St-Antoine-de-Padoue church at 3:00 p.m. with Deacon Jean Beausoleil and Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. ©
