Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès d’Aimé Benoit le samedi 14 janvier 2017 à l'Hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls à l'âge de 90 ans. Il aimait fabriquer des chapelets et des colliers. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, André (Lise), Robert, Yvon, Hélène Montgomery (David), Maurice, Claudette Benoit (Raynald Poisson) de Kapuskasing, Raymond de Victoria, Albert (Stella) de C.B., Louise Dumoulin (Michel St. Amour) de Smooth Rock Falls et Carole Benoit de Timmins, ainsi que plusieurs petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse, Georgette, deux fils, Alphonse et Claude. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 21 janvier en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la charité de votre choix. ©

We regret to announce the death of Aimé Benoit on Saturday, January 14 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 90. He enjoyed making rosaries and necklaces. He is survived by his children, André (Lise), Robert, Yvon, Hélène Montgomery (David), Maurice, Claudette Benoit (Raynald Poisson) of Kapuskasing, Raymond of Victoria, Albert (Stella) of B.C., Louise Dumoulin (Michel St. Amour) of Smooth Rock Falls and Carole Benoit of Timmins, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Georgette, two sons, Alphonse and Claude. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21st at the Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. ©
